Richard "Rox" Anderson, MD
Founder & Board Member
Dr. Richard “Rox” Anderson is the inaugural Lancer Endowed Chair in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), the director of the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, and Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. He’s famed for developing multiple groundbreaking therapeutic platforms, including laser hair removal, fractional resurfacing (Fraxel®), cryolipolysis (CoolSculpting®), and the IP behind the technologies of R2 Dermatology and AVAVA, Inc.

Dieter Manstein, MD/PhD
Founder & Board Member
Dr. Dieter Manstein is globally recognized for his leading role in the development of multiple dermatology breakthroughs, including fractional resurfacing (Fraxel®), cryolipolysis (CoolSculpting®), RF needle arrays (Profound®), and the IP behind R2 Dermatology and AVAVA, Inc. He’s currently Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, in the Cutaneous Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and President of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS).

Henry HL Chan, MD/PhD
Founder & Board Member
Dr. Henry HL Chan is one of the world’s leading clinicians and researchers in dermatology and medical aesthetics, and also a co-inventor of the IP behind R2 Dermatology and AVAVA, Inc. He’s an Honorary Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong, a visiting scientist at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Vice President of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS), and serves on the editorial boards of international journals such as Lasers In Surgery and Medicine and Dermatologic Surgery.

Irina Erenburg
Founder & Board Member
Dr. Irina Erenburg is a successful serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in innovation business leadership. She was previously Director of Strategic Transactions at the Partners HealthCare Office of Innovations, Boston’s largest hospital network and a teaching affiliate of Harvard University, and was responsible for high-value deals and startups at MGH — including Zeltiq Aesthetics, which was later acquired by Allergan for $2.4B. She is a co-founder and board member at R2 Dermatology, Inc., and Soltego, Inc., and serves as CEO of AVAVA, Inc.

Jay Bhawalkar, PhD
Vice President, R&D
Dr. Jay Bhawalkar brings unrivaled experience in energy-based therapies to our Innovation Studio, including over a decade as VP of research at Candela Corporation. He also serves as Chief Technology Officer for our subsidiary AVAVA, Inc., where he plays a key role in the ongoing clinical and commercial development of a revolutionary 3D laser skin therapy that originated with Blossom Innovations.

Lew Levine, MBA
Executive Director, Engineering
Lew Levine has over 20 years of design and development expertise introducing complex diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices to market with great commercial success. These products have incorporated advanced imaging, robotics, sensing, and algorithms which will be instrumental to future endeavors in our Innovation Studio.

Jenifer Perry, MBA
Vice President, Finance & Operations
Jenifer Perry provides experienced financial and operational oversight of every aspect of our business. Before joining Blossom Innovations, she honed her expertise in healthcare best business practices in key positions at both the healthcare sector of Thomson Reuters and at Partners HealthCare.

Rosemary Harry, MSBME
Regulatory Advisor
Rosemary Harry is an experienced healthcare expert with a successful track record of medical device approvals/clearances at the FDA. With a background in senior quality assurance management, regulatory affairs, clinical studies, and collaboration with biomedical startups and researchers, she brings hands-on experience to our efforts to ensure our products and platforms adhere to the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
